Medal: Distinguished Service to Polish Culture for Rafał Gorzycki

Rafał Gorzycki, president of the Polish Chamber Music Foundation ART MINTAKA, was honored with the Medal of the Minister of Culture and National Heritage for Merit to Polish Culture. The ceremony took place on January 21, 2026, at the Academy of Music Campus in Bydgoszcz during the finale of the Bydgoszcz Year of Music. 

The ART MINTAKA contemporary music festival, World Jazz Day, and the award-winning composer's performances and compositions, including his latest opera LUSTRO, created as part of the Bydgoszcz - UNESCO City of Music title, were initiatives  which the Bydgoszcz Culture Office recognized and submitted to the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage.
